Win has as BSCE from Georgia Tech and an MSCE from the University of Houston. He is recognized as an expert in offshore decommissioning and reuse. Recent work includes offshore decommissioning and reuse projects in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, California, Alaska, Southeast Asia and South America. Win has championed the environmentally sound and cost effective disposal of obsolete platforms through placement in state sanctioned “Rigs-to-Reefs” programs. |

He has worked on oil & gas decommissioning and pipeline issues for over 23 years and has carried out decommissioning studies/work on over 700 offshore installations worldwide. He has worked on decommissioning in Africa, Australia, SE Asia, South America, Canada, Greece, Mexico, Norway, Ireland, UK and USA. Dr Twomey has presented over 100 papers on decommissioning and has given numerous public and private training courses on all aspects of decommissioning. |

Lily Rozita Khairi is currently with Shell Malaysia Limited as the Managing Counsel for its Downstream, Corporate and Shared Services Units. In the 16 years that she has been with Shell, she has worked in several portfolios, starting in Human Resource, as Recruitment Executive, and moving on to legal portfolios in Upstream, Downstream, Gas and Power and Corporate.
She is also the Deputy President of the Malaysian Corporate Counsel Association. She read law at Cardiff Law School, United Kingdom and holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Malaysian Institute of Personnel Management.
Lily specialises in commercial negotiations and her pet interests are IR/ER and Decommissioning of Upstream Installations.
She loves the outdoors and aspires to complete a triathlon by the time she reaches 40. Her mantra is that for everything worth doing, it must be done with Pride, Passion and Professionalism. |

Gunther graduated from Manchester University with a BSC & MSC in Geology and joined BP in London as a geologist in 1980 after working for 3 years as a well-site engineer and geologist.
Assignments followed in Germany, China, Aberdeen, Norway, Indonesia, Houston and Venezuela with Gunther experiencing all aspects of geology ranging from frontier exploration utilising satellite and field geology to reactivation of oilfields in the Orinoco delta of Venezuela.
In 1996 Gunther returned to the North Sea taking on a number of business management roles in the Central North Sea, West of Shetland and finally running BP’s onshore terminals and pipeline business. In 2004 Gunther was posted to Baku as HSSE VP supporting BP’s operations in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Eastern Turkey. In October 2007 Gunther returned to the North Sea to lead a newly established team accountable for BP’s North Sea decommissioning programme which included NW Hutton, Miller and Don Field projects. In September 2009 Gunther was made VP Decommissioning for BP E&P, a role which has a global strategic and planning remit |

34 years industrial experience, the last 19 with Eni. His backgroung is in engineering, project management, joint venture management and acquisitions and disposals. Recently he has taken up the role of decommissioning coordinator in the Eni E&P division’s PROD department, in unit CABB. Here he has the responsibility of customising the Eni E&P a tool for decommissioning cost estimating (property of Eni E&P Division) for specific geographical areas and countries. The tool utilises a unique cost breakdown structure has been defined for all methodologies in order to guarantee the congruity of the estimate: vessel, personnel and equipment are the three cost parameters used to evaluate the main cost elements such as Mobilization/Demobilization, Survey Pre/Post Removal, Flushing and Clean Up, Equipment and Personnel for Removal, Engineering & Management and Onshore Final Disposal.
The introduction of the SFAS 143 principle in the United States, which defines the criteria for Decommissioning and Abandonment costs of production assets allocation and establishment, for companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange, requires such companies to report Abandonment funds with a good accuracy and guarantee the congruity of the estimate. |

Adrienne is currently a Senior Legal Counsel with Sarawak Shell Berhad dealing with the Upstream and Projects & Technology businesses. She is the upstream focal point for decommissioning in Malaysia and has worked on both offshore and onshore decommissioning projects in Malaysia.
Adrienne graduated with LLB(Hons) from the University of Glamorgan, Wales, and studied for the BVC at the University of Cardiff, Wales. She has been called to the Malaysian Bar and the English Bar. Adrienne was a practicing lawyer in the field of corporate and environmental law prior to joining Shell some 8 years ago. |

Dick Ward, Vice President International Operations for TETRA’s Well Abandonment and Decommissioning Services, will be speaking at the conference. At TETRA, Dick is responsible for overseeing the expansion of the company’s services in international areas.
Dick has over 36 years of experience in the areas of professional engineering, construction management, project management, and construction operations for offshore oil and gas facilities and pipelines, as well as for onshore facilities. His international experience includes working in Europe, West Africa, Central Asia, Former Soviet Union, Asia, India, and the Middle East.
Before TETRA, Dick held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Project Officer with Aerobus International, Inc., whose business is to develop and install mass transit systems worldwide. Prior to Aerobus, Dick served as Senior Vice President, Eastern Hemisphere Operations and Area Vice President Asia Pacific for Global Industries Offshore, Ltd. Dick also spent 23 years with McDermott International, Inc. in the positions of Vice President & General Manager, Project Director, Senior Project Manager, Resident Manager, and Marine Maintenance Supervisor.
Dick served in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance and Weapons Systems Officer (Captain) during the Vietnam War. Furthermore, Dick received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and performed his graduate studies at the University of New Mexico. |

Tom Peter studied Business Administration in Canada after his graduation in Economics in the Netherlands.
He started his maritime career in 1984 in the Region Europe sales department for Nedlloyd. He has held various positions since as project- and marketing manager North America services. After the merger of P&O with Nedlloyd he worked as trade manager North America services. He was appointed in a position as Maritime Policies and Regulatory Affairs globally for P&O Nedlloyd in 2000. He was one of the initiators of the ship recycling project in China, which he is responsible for since 2002. He actively participated in setting-up and improving the project and was directly involved in the discussion of the IMO convention.
After the takeover by Maersk, he continued his role as global project leader on ship recycling for A.P. Moller Maersk and was appointed as leader in external affairs for Maersk Line Europe and Maersk Ship Management B.V.
Tom Peter speaks regularly on behalf of Maersk about topics such as environmental changes in shipping and green ship recycling at various conferences in the world. |

Simon Hird has been 30 years in the subsea oil and gas sector. Initially employed in the subsea inspection industry, a series of career moves has resulted in extensive experience within the fields of subsea engineering, construction, inspection and intervention allied to proven abilities in business development, business acquisition and general management.
This experience has been gained in management positions within engineering and subsea construction contractors and a two-year period with a major oil and gas operator.
Having been a partner and major shareholder in successful UK subsea engineering consultancy Zenocean Limited since 1993, in 2003 he was part of the team that negotiated the sale of the business to New York-based investment group Monitor Oil PLC. He then took on a role as Vice President – Business Acquisition for UK subsidiary Monitor Offshore Systems Limited. He also remained Director and General Manager of Zenocean Limited which continued to trade as a Monitor subsidiary.
While with Zenocean he completed an MSc in Project Management submitting a dissertation on the creation of an integrated project management capability for the new era in the North Sea. He graduated with distinction in 1996.
In 2008 he took up a position as Projects Director for Well Ops Asia Pacific, a division of Helix Energy Solutions based in Perth Australia. In March 2009 he was asked to take on a new role to set up and develop a new division of Well Ops – Well Ops Consulting - offering integrated subsea consulting services to the SE Asia region.
In May 2009 he assumed the role of Business Development Manager, responsible for the department which is tasked with securing new business for Well Ops.
In February 2010 he was appointed Business Development Manager for Clough Helix, a new joint venture company formed by Clough Ltd and Well Ops’ parent company, Helix Energy Solutions Group. |

Tim Dallas is the Business Development Manager for Well Ops SEA, a Perth based service provider specializing in rigless intervention and abandonment of subsea wells.
Tim has 18 years experience in downhole tooling and subsea intervention equipment and was instrumental in the design and operation of the regions first rigless light well intervention spread. WellOps, in conjunction with its joint venture partner Clough operate the Normand Clough, the regions first multipurpose intervention and construction vessel has both saturation diving and intervention spreads permanently installed.
As Business Development Manager, Tim works closely with clients throughout the Asia/Pacific Region providing low cost intervention and decommissioning solutions, mainly based on the Normand Clough multi purpose intervention and dive support vessel. |

Toby is an energy and resources specialist with over twelve years' experience in house and in international private practice. He has lived and worked in Indonesia, Singapore Australia and the UK. Toby advises upon a broad range of matters including oil and gas, mining and LNG projects, M&A and disputes. His clients include BP, Chevron, Mitsubishi, Premier Oil, Mitsui, INPEX, Hess, Singapore Petroleum Company and PTTEP.
Prior to joining Herbert Smith in August 2007, Toby was the legal manager for Santos' Indonesian oil and gas business. There he was responsible for all aspects of the business including long term gas commercialisation arrangements, major field development contracts (including EPC, FPSO, FSO, MOPU contracts), PSCs, JOAs, farm-ins and acquisitions, coal bed methane and Indonesian regulatory advice. He also dealt with legal issues arising from the 2006 East Java mud flow disaster.

Ingeborg McNicoll is a Partner with ERM with over 25 years experience working in the marine environment, initially in fish farming and marine resources and latterly for the oil and gas industry as well as other coastal industries. She has been involved in numerous environmental projects which include Strategic Environmental Assessments for Oil and Gas Activities, Environmental Impact Assessments, environmental permitting, oil spill contingency planning, consultation with stakeholder and statutory authorities, environmental management systems. Her knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry enables her to facilitate a range of types of Environmental Workshops such as ENVIDs, scoping, Environmental ALARPS etc. She has worked in many oil and gas provinces - Europe, Africa and South East Asia.
Since moving to Malaysia in 2007, Ingeborg has been involved in preparing BPEO tools for representatives of the oil and gas industry in Thailand and regulatory authorities as well as taking an active role in the Brownfield Working Group of the Malaysian Oil and Gas Services Council (MOGSC) including presenting at seminars on the Environmental Issues associated with decommissioning. |
